We reported last week that a social injustice panel would be taking place in Philadelphia today and tomorrow to discuss the city's growing criminal justice issues in correlation to Meek Mill's case. The REFORM: Bringing Injustice To Light event will be live-streamed on Tidal for those unable to attend the panel in person. Rick Ross has been a constant supporter of Meek Mill throughout his legal troubles, sharing his love on numerous occasions. Today, Rozay shared a post on Instagram, detailing the injustice that has been brought to the forefront regarding police corruption in Meek's case and offering viable reasons for why he should be released.
The text-based report writes that Meek has been on probation for his entire adult life and, due to the extension of his probation, he will have been tried for 15 consecutive years until 2024. The Bawse continues, "Due to the revelation of numerous cases confirming police misconduct, perjury, bias, and corruption among Narcotics Field Unit, 800 cases were dismissed in 2014." The officer who originally arrested the Philadelphia rapper, Reginald Graham, has already been revealed to be on a list of "corrupt" cops, created by the Philadelphia District Attorney. In the light of these findings, Ross asks, "Why is Meek Mill still in prison."
