Finishing up five albums will take up a lot of your time.

While he made time to visit the TMZ offices last week and cause a scene with his comment about slavery sounding "like a choice," Kanye West appears to have locked himself in the studio once again to finish up his ambitious goal of dropping five albums next month. Last night's Met Gala saw many of the industry's famous faces show up but there were some notable ones absent from the celebration. As she usually makes one of the grandest entrances on the red carpet, Beyoncé relaxed on vacation and although Kim Kardashian was decked out in head-to-toe Versace, her husband was surprisingly not by her side.

In years past, Kanye and Kim have put together some of the most memorable looks from the New York City-hosted Gala but Ye was nowhere to be seen last night. Many believed that the controversy surrounding his recent comments had caused him to take a step back but, thankfully, Kim cleared up the real reason why her partner was not by her side. After Ye tweeted a photo of his wife in her stunning gown, the reality starlet responded, "Love you babe wish you were here with meeeeee but you’re only finishing up 5 albums 😂🔥😂❤️."

As he works on his album alongside Teyana Taylor's, Pusha T's, Nas' and a collaboration with Kid Cudi, Kanye has a lot on his plate right now. Stirring things up last week, the artist has the liberty of taking some time off now since people are still discussing his controversial comments on a major scale.
