The latest song to receive a lilt from Kaytra is a selection from UK singer Kelela, plucked from her debut record Take Me Apart. Since her debut, the UK singer has become a staple in the progressive R&B scene, spearheaded by Bok Bok and his "bassy" assailants over at Night Slugs. Kaytranada manages to give "Waitin" from her debut, an unusual jangle, one the Night Slug's letterpress would be proud to call their own.
The "Waitin" remix effectively titled "KAYTRANADA_WAITIN_115 BPM" is part of an upcoming remix compilation titled TAKE ME A_PART, THE REMIXES, which will account for every track on her 2017 album with the deft touch of producers like Kaytranada. Kelela also announced that a remix to her debut's lead single "LMK" was in existence. The projected single will encompass verses from Princess Nokia, CupcakKe, Junglepussy, and Ms. Boogie.
