Last week A$AP Rocky and Under Armour officially launched the Rocky's first sneaker collab, the A$AP x Under Armour SRLo, at a special event in Harlem.
The bulky sneaker, designed by former pro skater Dave Mayhew, bears a strong resemblance to the Osiris D3 - which was also one of Mayhew's creations. Osiris has certainly noticed the similarities between the two sneakers, and they've taken to social media to vent about how they haven't been properly credited.
Osiris posted a side-by-side image of both sneakers on instagram, accompanied by the caption, “We all know who dropped it first… @asaprocky @underarmour #osirisskateboarding #asaprocky #osiris #coolstorybro #osirisshoes #underarmpit #D3 @tdub951.” According to HypeBeast, a follow up to a comment on the post reads, ”…It’s cool he is showing Dave love but he should be giving Osiris credit more. Dave walked from skateboarding years ago.”
