It's going to be a cruel winter.

"I hear 'em talkin 'bout Southern folks can't rhyme
Some of y'all must be out your God damned mind"

- Deacon The Villain

Though Atlanta has been at the forefront of a major cultural wave, many are quick to associate the contemporary Georgia movement with trap music and autotune. Of course, many formidable lyricists have emerged from the ATL, including Big Boi, Killer Mike, and Andre 3000, but their current batch of lyricists are often overlooked. Such ignorance is no longer forgivable, especially when we have J.I.D, EarthGang, and CyHi The Prynce currently in the fold.

Last year, CyHi dropped off No Dope On Sundays, which helped solidify his foothold as one of the game's sharpest lyricists. Yet it's been nearly a year since the project dropped, and fans are eager to hear what CyHi has to say. While this initially fell under our radar, it seems only right to shed some light on CyHi's future plans. As of now, we officially have a timetable, lengthy though it may be - the G.O.O.D. Music rapper took to Twitter to announce that his new album is set to drop in February, barring any unfortunate delays.

"If the bars are available why can't I purchase them?? #500k," writes Tha Prynce. "Wait till I drop this album in February Ima show the greatest and best lyricists alive reside in Atlanta GA." Good to see CyHi putting down for his locale, and we can only hope he links up with some of Atlanta's best young lyricists to add some gravitas to his statement.
