"Flower bomb, can I blow up on your mind?"

Word on the street says Wale's classic track "Lotus Flower Bomb" was written about Solange, the singer's seemingly lost love. We're well aware that the couple previously dated, but now it's revealed that the Miguel featured track is about the "Cranes In The Sky" singer. Wale has been responding to numerous fans on Twitter and one user asked him what inspired the track.

Wale's response was simple: "She married now." Solange is now married to music video director Alan Ferguson. There's a slight chance Wale is talking about another woman he linked up with before the track, who also got married, but we think this reach is acceptable considering how much he expressed his love for her at the time of their relationship - and we haven't seen him seriously linked with anyone since.

“I do love her,” he previously said of Solange. “We’re friends. She’s amazing. She’s a good person. Any single mother contributing to society the way she does – I got a lot of love for them. She’s got to do a lot on her own and raise a young black man in this day and age so my hat goes off to her. She’s definitely an anomaly. And the way she can do that and manage to do the same things that I complain about having to do.”
