Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon (R) welcomes singer Whitney Houston (L) and her husband/singer, Bobby Brown (C), at the prime minister's residence May 27, 2003 in Jerusalem, Israel. Houston is on a private tour of Israel.
This is getting out of hand now.

The King of R&B discussion has reached Bobby Brown's radar. Jacquees stirred the pot when he announced himself as the "King of R&B." It has turned out to be an opportune marketing moment, thrusting Jacquees to the top of the conversation overnight. His bold statement has earned him responses from several vets in the game. Diddy, Charlemagne Tha God, and Tank have spoken on the matter, and fans across the nation have jumped on social media to insert their opinions. TMZ caught up with the OG Bobby Brown and asked his opinion on the matter.

"They want the title, they gotta battle me," responded Brown. When asked if he was still the king of R&B he replies with, "That's where it was said." Although at one time Brown was on top of the R&B world, those days are long gone. "You want the title, battle me," he continued. "I really didn't want to talk about it but I been seeing it on Instagram and social media. To me it's like... you want the title, battle me. Live on stage. Me versus anybody." After the TMZ reporter throws Chris Brown and Usher's name into the conversation though, Brown relents a bit. "I give it up to Usher," he finally admits.
