"Their asking price right now is ridiculous for him."

The New York Giants are "still involved in trade discussions" focused around Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., according to Jeff Howe of The Athletic.

Though the G-Men are listening to offers, they aren't actively shopping Odell, and they certainly aren't going to ship him out for a third-round pick like the Pittsburgh Steelers did Antonio Brown. NFL insider Jay Glazer relayed the following information to Colin Cowherd earlier today:

"Teams have absolutely called and talked to the Giants and they've taken the calls and had conversations... They're certainly listening, but their asking price right now is ridiculous for him."

Beckham, 26, inked a five-year, $95 million extension with the Giants last year but there have been constant rumors about a potential trade since then. Just last month, Glazer answered a number of mailbag questions about the NFL offseason for The Athletic, and he predicted that the Giants would trade their #1 receiver.

In 12 games last season, OBJ caught 77 passes for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns, as the G-Men finished in last place in the NFC East with a 5-11 record.

Among the teams interested in acquiring OBJ, are the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers.
