21 Savage switched up his lyrics to speak on immigration on "The Tonight Show."

A few days ago, 21 Savage was the special guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The trap artist performed a version of his hit song "A Lot" by himself, switching up the lyrics in the third verse to speak on a few issues that were weighing heavy on his heart. By now, many of you have heard about the Atlanta (?) artist getting arrested for being a supposed illegal immigrant. He was nabbed by ICE yesterday after they found that the rapper was actually a British citizen, overstaying his visa in the States. The entire situation is very bizarre and this only adds another layer to the mystery.

During his appearance on The Tonight Show, 21 Savage spoke on immigration laws and border control, which has been a hot topic as of late. According to XXL, the rapper changed his lyrics to say, "Started from the bottom straight from the gutter, so I had to go a lil' harder/The lights was off, the gas was off, so we had to boil up the water/Been through some things so I can't imagine my kids stuck at the border/Flint still need water/People was innocent, couldn't get lawyers."

The rapper's legal team is apparently saying that this is all a huge misunderstanding, promising that the confusion will clear itself up. What do you make of it all?
