Jhene Aiko still has love for Big Sean but he won't be the focal point of her upcoming releases.

Jhene Aiko seems to be getting ready to release a new project at some point this year. On a music front, she was relatively quiet throughout 2018 despite releasing her last project, Trip towards the end of 2017. Since the release of her last project, she and Big Sean called it quits in their relationship. Many thought that would be a focal point of her upcoming releases but she recently shut down those rumors on Instagram.

Jhene Aiko recently shared a post on Instagram to let her fans know that new music is on the way. A fan suggested that Jhene Aiko is gearing up to spill the tea on Big Sean and the reason why they broke up. However, that doesn't appear to be the case. Aiko replied to the user and let them know that things between her and Big Sean are good while giving a bit more insight on what to expect from her upcoming project.

"Me and Sean are good. I got tons of love for him," she wrote. "My next project is all freestyles where I touch on many subjects and relationships... past, present, and future," she continued. "I know you all love the drama and would like to think everything I do is about him, but I've been through plenty of other things and situations that I pull inspiration from when I sit down and create a song. Have a good day."
