Zion Williamson is hurt again and it's not looking good for the Pelicans.

Shannon Sharpe is one of the most entertaining men on sports talk television. Every single weekday, he sits across from none other than Skip Bayless and they debate the latest topics. Overall, it is a very fun show and while the two get heated, there is no shortage of great punditry. Although some people might hate these kinds of shows, you cannot deny the fact that they can be a whole lot of fun to consume. This is especially true following a big sporting event like the Super Bowl or even the NBA Finals.

Lately, a big topic throughout the NBA world has been none other than Zion Williamson. Unfortunately, Williamson has been dealing with a pretty bad hamstring injury. Moreover, it seems like this injury may very well keep him out of the lineup for the entire season. Needless to say, the Pelicans are hitting the panic button as Williamson is constantly injured. On Undisputed today, Sharpe got to speak on Zion, and he ushered in a very harsh truth.

Shannon Sharpe Reacts

When asked if the Pelicans can have any confidence in Zion, Sharpe was just brutally honest. Overall, it was not exactly kind to Zion, however, that is not the goal of the show. In fact, if you have followed the Pelicans, you will probably agree with Shannon. "It's a lower number than 0. They should have zero confidence that Zion will be healthy for the rest of his career," Sharpe said. This is an unfortunate notion to consider, especially since Zion is so fun to watch. However, he is a big guy, and typically, larger players have a harder time staying healthy. Hopefully, he can prove Sharpe wrong.

When the season started, the Pelicans were looking amazing. Now, however, it is looking increasingly likely that they will miss the playoffs. If you're a fan of the team, all of this has been incredibly difficult to watch. Let us know what you think of Sharpe's remarks, in the comments below.
