GloRilla makes her her "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" debut with Lil Durk, who confirmed that his album is finally done.

The summer is quickly approaching and we need new music from Lil Durk. Fortunately, it looks like he’s finally ready to unload his highly-anticipated project. The rapper linked up with GloRilla ahead of their performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! where he confirmed that his forthcoming album is finally done. “Trench babies @glorillapimp tonight it’s up p.s album done,” he wrote on Instagram. The two performed “Ex’s (PHATNALL Remix),” which appears on GloRilla’s extended version of her debut EP Anyways Life’s Great.

Perhaps, this is a sign that GloRilla could appear on Lil Durk’s next album. The two artists collaborated on Glo’s EP but prior to that, Don Toliver connected them on “Leave The Club.” However, their working relationship has certainly strengthened into a personal one. GloRilla previously FaceTimed Durk’s daughter, while he’s also joined her on stage on various occasions. Most recently, he popped out in Indio, CA for her Coachella set. It seems highly possible that he’ll pop out again during Weekend Two.

Lil Durk & GloRilla Lock In

The Chicago drill rapper hinted at the project over the past few months without providing any indication of when it might come out. Much of it seemed to be all talk but he announced last week that his album is finally done. Truthfully, these updates from Durk feel a bit redundant unless he has an actual release date to announce. But, between his recent NFT Sneaker Project and his attempt to win back India Love, he clearly has a few things on his plate these days.

Though GloRilla might end up on the project, Lil Durk previously suggested that the tracklist will be stacked with features. He confirmed Kodak Black will appear on the project, and announced a collaboration with J. Cole (that some believed could be an April Fool’s Joke). However, it seems like he also has some music with Drake in the cut, and hopes to land a feature from SZA. Whether all of these features will be cleared has yet to be seen but Durk is clearly revving up to take things up a notch on his follow-up to 7220
