If there's one thing Nicki Minaj is always gonna do, it's show support for an up-and-coming artist she believes in. We saw this recently with her "Princess Diana (Remix)" collaboration with Ice Spice, but that's not the only verse the Queen of Rap was willing to hand out this spring. This New Music Friday (May 26), she joined Sexyy Red and Tay Keith for "Pound Town 2," which features some of Minaj's most salacious bars in recent memory.
After allowing the response to the single to die down, Sexyy Red reposted an adorable message from the mother of one on her Instagram. "Barbz!!! Omggggg!!!! I'm so excited about this dope new collaboration. I ain't get this ratchet in a minute chile!!! ENJOY!!!!!!" Minaj began. "I met with Sexyy Red and found her to be so down to earth and sweet. I couldn't hear myself on this song at first but once I let go and decided to just have fun with a bad b!tch, I ended up LOVING how it came out!"

In her own caption, Red wrote back, "Thank you @nickiminaj this made me blush lol. I love you bih, [I don't know] what [y'all be] thinkin' about her sayin' she mean." The rising rap diva cautioned her followers not to believe the gossip online, revealing that the "Moment 4 Life" artist is "sweet and very nurturing." On top of providing her new friend with a fire verse, Minaj apparently also gave her "great advice that [she's going to] remember foreva."
