The Adidas Yeezy restock has commenced.

Kanye West and Adidas had a very public falling out late in 2022. Overall, Adidas had no choice but to drop Kanye West as he was making some very anti-Semitic statements in the media. Moreover, Ye was making it apparent that he no longer wanted to be signed there. In the end, it just made sense to terminate the deal and cut some losses. However, Adidas was left with over $500 million in Yeezy stock and no one to sell it to. This subsequently led to a compromise that has now created a sell-off event.

Starting yesterday, Adidas started to roll out some Yeezy restocks for shoes that they had left in the vault. Overall, these releases have been incredibly successful for the brand. They have dropped off a ton of great shoes so far, and fans have been copping as many as they can. Of course, Kanye West is set to get a nice royalty from all of this, 15 percent to be exact. The account @kanyewestaurant_ has actually been keeping track of the numbers, and they are looking quite good for Ye.

Kanye West Yeezys By The Numbers

So far, over 680,000 pairs have been sold. Based on the price of these sneakers, it would appear as though Adidas has made themselves upwards of $170 million. Additionally, over $25 million of this will go to Kanye West himself. Much of the rest will go to various organizations that seek to combat racism and anti-Semitism. As it stands, there are still a couple of drops to go, which means Adidas will be able to recoup a whole more in the coming days. This is also good for Ye, who clearly would like to have some extra income right now.

There have been some great sneakers to return to the market. That said, don't expect anymore Yeezys beyond this point. This was one final restock, and it will never happen again. If the designs do come back, they will come back without any trace of Yeezy branding. Let us know if you have copped anything from the restock, in the comments section below.
