Tyler, The Creator is back with a new song and video for "OKRA."

Tyler, The Creator hardly drops loose singles but when he does, they smack. Last year, he dropped off his latest project, Flower Boy which can be argued as one of his most compelling projects to date. On the production side, Tyler's jazz influence came out at its best and lyrically, he was as sharp as ever. We haven't received much music from him since then, but that changes today. Tyler unexpectedly dropped off his latest track, "OKRA."

Tyler, The Creator's new track "OKRA" might be a throwaway, but there's no doubt that the rapper could've included this on an upcoming project. The booming bass looms throughout the verse is reminiscent of some of the his earlier work. However, the melodies on the hook change the tone of the song before jumping right back into the dark side. The song's currently on YouTube but look out for it to drop on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming services tonight.

Hopefully, Tyler ends up dropping this on his upcoming tour dates. After backing out of some South American dates with a strange explanation, the rapper will be hitting the road for several festival dates including Coachella at the end of April. In addition, he was also announced as one of the headliners for Afropunk's Brooklyn Festival. Keep your eyes peeled for that.

Quotable Lyrics
Watts riot in my blood, n*gga whats up
And that pussy pink like the drink in my cup
Lemonade yeah its minute maid
I been getting paid pockets gaining weight
