Adrien Broner poses on the scale during his official weigh-in at MGM Grand Garden Arena on January 18, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Broner will challenge WBA welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao for his title on January 19 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Broner still faces sexual assault charges in another case though.

According to TMZAdrien Broner has been cleared of his sexual battery charges after prosecutors decided there wasn't enough evidence to prove he grabbed a woman's vagina at an Atlanta area mall. According to reports at the time, Broner was accused of forcefully groping the victim's butt, thigh, and vagina outside of the Louis Vuitton store at the Lennox Mall. The interaction caused an altercation where the two entered into a verbal fight, which was caught on tape and went viral. At that point, police stepped in an arrested Broner, escorting him out of the mall in cuffs. Prosecutors did not have enough admissible evidence to "prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt," so the sexual battery and simple battery misdemeanors were dropped. Those two charges aren't the only sexual assault allegations against the athlete though.

In June of 2018, Broner was arrested and charged with felony gross sexual imposition and felony abduction after a woman at a Cleveland club claimed the athlete forcibly kissed her repeatedly and groper her. Broner faces a maximum of five years in prison for those charges. The repeated accusations for similar activities has tarnished Broner's career, and many in the court of public opinion have already deemed him guilty.
