Billie Eilish had to take extreme measures against an obsessed fan, being granted a 3-year restraining order.

Billie Eilish has received an extension on her restraining order against 24-year-old Prenell Rousseau after trespassing multiple times on the property that the young singer shares with her parents.

Superior Court Judge Dianna Gould-Saltman agreed to extend the original restraining order issued on May 11th. That order had prevented Rousseau from attempting to contact or come within 100 years of the “Bad Guy” singer and her parents. Initially, the 18-year old popstar’s attorney had asked for a five-year restraining order against Rousseau, who traveled from New York to her Los Angeles home, but the judge determined three years was more appropriate.

According to court documents, Rousseau, who has not contacted Eilish or her family since May 5th, showed up to the singer’s home multiple times on May 4th and 5th exhibiting “erratic behavior.” He even asked Eilish’s father through a surveillance camera whether the star lived on the property and refused to leave until he was arrested for trespassing.

"While we waited for security, Mr. Rousseau remained on our porch, sat down and began to read a book, while also continuing to engage in a periodic monologue,” Eilish stated, per court documents. “My father repeatedly asked him to leave, but he refused." The documents also stated that Eilish and her family felt threatened by the trespasser.

The recording artist received a temporary restraining order against Rousseau back in early May.
