DJ Khaled & Asahd
Asahd continues to cross milestones of his to-do list.

DJ Khaled is looking to May with the temperament of an eager beaver. The minute the clock turns midnight, expect DJ Khaled to ring in his album month with an onslaught of promotion. With Father Of Asahd set to arrive on May 17th, the mogul has already begun to pop up with increased frequency, this time securing himself a cover spot on GQ Middle East. Living up to his album title, Khaled made sure to keep the shoot a father-son affair, once again cementing Asahd in the public eye. How many other infants have lined GQ? Could this be a historical first?

"Blessed to be on the cover wit my SON @asahdkhaled," writes Khaled, tagging his son's Instagram page. GQ Middle East's IG page details the content of the cover story as follows: Sure, everything DJ Khaled touches turns to gold. But, as the Palestinian-American has learned, nothing is more major key than fatherhood."  In the story, available here, Khaled explains his own experience becoming a father. "The day Asahd came into my life is the day I became greater. Also the day I experienced the purest form of love," he shares.

I always thought I knew what love was, until I met Asahd. Asahd, he came out of my queen’s belly: God and my queen delivered my son to me and to our family. When he first locked eyes with me – I’ll never forget it....He’s my son, but he’s also someone that I feel brings happiness to the world. Some people say, ‘Yo Khaled, why do you post so much of your son?’ Well, because I can’t control my love. I just can’t. And, guess what? I only do things with love and positivity. If I see something that can make me smile, or inspire me, I want to see that everyday. It could be from me, it could be from you. That’s the way the world could be better.”

Father of Asahd, indeed. Check out the whole story right here, and sound off - are you excited to see Khaled's upcoming project in action?
