The presidential candidate's weed-smoking playlist makes no sense.

Pandering to specific demographics is a common occurrence in politics. This tactic often earns criticism and sometimes ridicule, however. Remember how people reacted to Hilary Clinton boasting about keeping hot sauce in her purse as an attempt to seem hip and edgy? Kamala Harris got herself tangled in a similarly absurd situation. The Democrat appeared on The Breakfast Club to share her visions of American society's future. Then, her remarks caught a snag when she ventured out of the topic of social issues. Watch the full interview after the jump.

DJ Envy: “What does Kamala Harris listen to?”

Charlamagne: “What were you listening to when you was high? Was it Snoop?”

Kamala: “Definitely Snoop, Tupac for sure, for sure…”

The former prosecutor appears to have either misspoken or simply lied about this part of her college experience. She graduated in 1986 before the release of the rapper's albums. Tupac and Snoop's debuted in 1991 and 1993 respectively. Viewers are assuming the politician was trying to appeal to millennials. Another take on her comments suggests that she might have actually been bumping their tracks while high. In that case, she would have been getting high while also participating in drug-related prosecutions.

Harris is now catching heat for either being yet another lying politician or a self-serving hypocrite. View some of the publics reactions below.
