Lee Daniels is putting his foot down.

Lee Daniels has taken a moment to fully respond to the accusations of blackballing Mo’Nique. The 50-year-old comedian who starred in Precious as an abusive mother claims that her career has been tarnished after the role due to Lee, Oprah and Tyler Perry who allegedly paid her unfairly and no longer included her in Hollywood.

“I fought hard for her to get that job. I wanted her to get that job. And she was paid her money,” Lee said. “She was paid the money for the budget that we had. And for her to badmouth myself and Tyler and Oprah is disrespectful and it’s wrong. She’s out of pocket. She’s really wrong.”

He added: “I respect her [as an] actor because she gave me her soul, but I gave her mysoul. And for that she was given the Golden Globe and the Academy Award … and it breaks my heart that she feels that we blackballed her. No one blackballed her. Mo’Nique blackballed her. And for her to continue to speak about Oprah and myself and Tyler is disrespectful.”

Last year Mo'Nique used the trio as the butt of her vulgar joke at a comedy show. “What is that black dick connected to? That black man? So no, I was not blackballed. I was white-balled by some black dicks who have no balls.”
