Billy Ray Cyrus & Lil Nas X
It was Lil Nas X's first ever performance.

Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus have been the talk of the music industry with the "Old Town Road" remix. Cyrus hopped on the track after the young artist had been removed from the Billboard country music charts despite writing and creating a song that had almost everything you need to be classified as country. Regardless, the remix ended up number one on the Billboard charts and today, Lil Nas X dropped the latest remix courtesy of Diplo.

Diplo had a set at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival on Friday night and he invited Billy Ray Cyrus and Lil Nas X up on stage as his guests, according to hiphop-n more. That's when the three debuted the new remix for the crowd. This was not only Lil Nas X's first performance with Cyrus, but his first performance period. The young artist has mostly been in the studio working on his new album and with his newfound success, more performances will certainly be on the way.

The latest remix is different as Diplo completely changes the beat, stripping it of the banjo and 808s that made it so popular. Instead, the beat is a lot more atmospheric and features some pretty interesting sound choices.

Check out some videos from the performance below.
