Lil Tjay has been going on a pretty interesting promo run for his new project.

Lil Tjay continues to be one of the best up and coming artists in hip-hop right now and fans are excited for his project that is coming out on May 8th called State Of Emergency. Interestingly enough, Tjay has been a lot more active on social media these days and it hasn't always been for the right reasons. For example, Tjay is currently in a feud with Rubi Rose after he left her stranded without a flight home. It's a situation that has gotten the attention of all the big outlets and now, all eyes are on Tjay.

Last night on social media, Tjay made sure to give himself even more promo as he teased his new project on Instagram. He also offered up a lengthy all caps caption in which he declared himself the king of New York.

"FUCK ALL THAT OTHER SHIT GOING ON RN SHIT IRRELEVANT 😒 ONLY THING I KNOW IS IM SHUTTING THE STREETS DOWN FROM NOW ON IM THE KING OF NY !! ALL THAT OTHER NA NA NA SHIT ND SNITCH RAINBOW HAIR SHIT GOING ON IN MY CITY A DUBB! THE REAL GON UNDERSTAND... MAY 8 IM GIVING YALL THAT PAIN YALL NEED, ITZ UP NY STAND TF UP," Lil Tjay wrote.

This declaration will certainly rub some artists and fans the wrong way although you can't help but admire Tjay's confidence here. Hopefully, his project is able to deliver on these promises.
