Lil Uzi Vert takes over the TRL studio.

Lil Uzi Vert's been taking over the globe this past year. Between his viral dance moves, his hit songs and dropping an incredible debut album, it's been Uzi fever out here. While LUV Is Rage 2 continues to do exceptionally well and even landed him his first number one position on the Billboard charts, he's also been teasing more music on the way. While there isn't any confirmation on any new projects, he's been keeping busy otherwise. Today, he hit up TRL to perform two of his hit songs.

With the relaunch of MTV's TRL this past week, they've been bringing through some incredible artists each day. Today, they brought through Lil Uzi Vert. The Philly rapper came through to perform two of his hit singles. During the show, he brought a relatively tamer performance to the table with a rendition of "XO Tour Llif3." In the post show, he came back out to perform "Sauce It Up." Throughout both videos, he's relatively calm but he does get into it and starts vibing out in the crowd. However, the crowd was exceptionally excited for his appearance on the show.

TRL's on their third day since re-launching. They've been really emphasizing hip hop artists on their show. On the opening day, they brought the Migos through to perform their latest single "Too Hotty." On the same day, DJ Khaled and Asahd Khaled made appearance, helping the hosts drop the Times Square ball. Yesterday, they brought Playboi Carti through as well. The rapper hit the stage to perform his hit single "Magnolia" and later on, he served as a judge for their Milly Rock competition. On their website, they announced that Lil Yachty is going to be making an appearance on the show tomorrow. MTV is definitely bringing more hip hop to the table with the relaunch of TRL than there was during the original programming in the late 90's and early 00's. It'll be interesting to see who else they end up bringing on the show later on.
