Spillage Village come through like the harbingers of the apocalypse, signaling the "End Of Daze" in glorious fashion.

While J.I.D. and EarthGang have become two of Dreamvillle's most valuable players, their history stretches well beyond joining the ranks of J. Cole's movement. Their journey began with Spillage Village, an artistic collective dedicated to writing and recording music, playing shows, and building a repertoire of quality material -- the majority of which was recorded in an Atlanta home studio, the likes of which is still adorned with all their formative album covers. Now, the group is back in full swing with their latest single "End Of Daze," the first glance at their upcoming Spilligion album.

Featuring Spill Vill members J.I.D, EarthGang, Mereba, JB, and Jordan Bryant the track arrives featuring a smooth bassline, exuding an ever-so-slight bit of menace. Appropriate given the apocalyptic circumstances, though don't expect the Village to sit this one out in silence. As per usual, each member lays down impressive verses, and seeing as they built their relationship on mutual respect and unity, it feels ill-advised to point fingers at a standout. Put it this way -- if Spilligion retains this level of quality throughout, we're in for a treat.

Check it out for yourself, and show some love to one of the game's most underrated collectives putting in work.

QUOTABLE LYRICS

Nonchalant on most occasions, apocalypse no different
It takes a lot to phase him, takes even more to kill him
I watch, but I don't listen, an ox, I'm pullin' wagons
My mama birthed a n***a with the spirit of a dragon
On the last day of the calendar, I live like an assassin
I'ma pray before we go down with the planet
