Carey Kelly recently gave a new interview to CBS Chicago to discuss further details about the infamous allegations against R. Kelly, his relationship with his brother. He also revealed that he is also facing accusations of child molestation, claims he refutes entirely. During the conversation, Carey confirmed that his sibling had, indeed, married a 15-year-old Aaliyah at the age of 27. However, when the subject of pedophilia came up, his answer wasn't as definite. “I mean, I can’t honestly say that for sure. I just know that he has a problem with control. I love my brother, but he do have a problem, and if anybody out there love him, they should want to see him get help.”

He also recounted the conversation they had after the infamous trial which resulted in R. Kelly's acquittal in 2008. “Once he beat that case, I called him. And I said, ‘Hey man, you know, God gave you another chance, you know. God gave you another chance," Carey recalled. According to him, R. Kelly responded with arrogance, "‘God didn’t give me another chance. I gave me another chance. My money gave me another chance.’ Those are the words that he said to me, and I looked at the phone like, ‘Are you serious?’”

Carey continued to recount the aftermath of the trial which includes allegations made against him. He has been accused of molesting his own daughter, a situation that has enhanced the family's difficulties. He says he plans to bring the situation to Iyanla: Fix My Life. R. Kelly will not appear on the show, however, because he "won't admit it."
